Marian also works for this car deodarant brand as Francesca, and I have seen her in so many of that company's participated events. I'm quite thankful she's patient with me and taking a boatload of pictures of her.
Here, I went on tiptoe trying to get a picture of her from a higher vantage point. If I had a monobloc chair or stool that would have been a whole lot better.
My main complaint with this shot is the lighting. I still don't have my slave flash units on me, so I could have used some fill flash to illuminate her lower body. I guess my lone Speedlite was not sufficient.
I think that if you had used a flash to illuminate the bottom half of her body, then this photo would have been completely different, and in many ways, not as nice.
I quite light the clear face and, and the progressively darker body to the feet, though it might be nicer if it was blended better. Perhaps you could do something in Photoshop?
Seriously though, don't be so hard on yourself. If nothing else, you get to take photos of beautiful women.
I was discussing this same picture with a friend of mine and his comment was Marian's make-up was too heavy, making her face more bright than it should. What do you think?
Hey face does seem brighter, or... I don't know, more 'solid' then the rest of the picture. In the right picture it would look beautiful, but here it looks as though it should be blended more, you know?
It might be an experiment to try and make it work with another model, from a higher angle... maybe, like you said, stand on a chair, and focus the camera on her face.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
